Where to get a prepared Easter meal to go — pre-order now for pickup later

Easter falls on Sunday, April 9th, 2023.  If you want to enjoy the holiday with minimal kitchen time, check out these options for ordering an Easter brunch or dinner to enjoy at home. Most are heat-and-serve options for a complete meal.

The Fresh Market

Order online by April 8th.
Pick up in in-store from April 6th to 9th.
Stores are open from 8am to 6pm on Easter.

Offering complete Easter meals that are ready to cook or heat.
They include entree, sides, and desserts.

Publix

Order at least 48 hours in advance (24 hours for bakery items)
Publix is closed on Easter Sunday, so you’ll have to pick up the day before.

A heat-and-serve ham dinner with sides is $69.99 for a meal that serves 7 to 10 people.
A smaller dinner for $44.99 serves 2 to 4 people.
Both meals include, in varying portion sizes:

  • One boneless ham (size varies by meal chosen)
  • Sweet potato casserole
  • Green bean casserole
  • Marshmallow delight

Depending on the store you shop at, you may have a choice between pickup or delivery.

Whole Foods

Order online with 48-hours notice
Pickup between April 5th and 9th.
Heat-and-serve dinner options may vary between stores.
We got our examples from the Chamblee store. When you click thru the links for details, you should update the store location before starting an order.
The 2023 prices are about $15-$25 higher than last year for meal packages.

Boston Market

Order online.
Pickup is between April 5th and April 9th.
Stores are also open for in-person dining on Easter.

Pick up a complete heat-and-serve meal, or just order your desserts or sides a la carte.
You can also pick up a hot meal.

A variety of Ham Meals come in two sizes — feeds 4-6 people or feeds up to 12.
All meals include sides and most include a 9″ apple pie.

A complete ham meal for 4-6 people is $100 and includes 3 sides, cornbread, and a pie.
A complete ham meal for 12 is $140 and includes 4 sides, cornbread, and 2 pies.
Sides and desserts ordered a la carte are $8 to $15.
If you just want the ham, choose from spiral-sliced or boneless .

Seasons 52

Offering complete meal packages and individual meals.
Order online for pickup only on Saturday, April 8th between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Heat-and-serve meals for 4 to 6 people start at $145.
Individual ham meals are $30 and can be picked up hot on Easter Sunday only. There’s also a kid’s version for just $15.

Meals include entree, salad, roasted green beans, choice of an additional side, and Mini Indulgence desserts.
Choose from three entrees:

  • Apricot-Glazed Spiral Ham 
  • Wood-Grilled Beef Tenderloin 
  • Cedar Plank Roasted Salmon

Seasons 52 will also offer its full takeout menu.
Beer and wine and mimosas to go are available to go in select locations.

 

Hampton + Hudson

The meal is $55 for 2 people or $100 for 4 people.

It is also open for dine-in on Easter Sunday.

 

Olive Garden

This Easter, enjoy the comfort of Olive Garden classics. Selections include family bundles of Lasagna, Chicken Parmigiana, Chicken Alfredo, with homemade soup or salad and breadsticks. You can also get a Family Pan of pasta without any sides.

Family meals start at $52 and serve 4 to 6 people.
In some locations, you can add beer and wine to your order.
NOTE: These family meal bundles are not just an Easter special — they are available until further notice.

 

Cracker Barrel

Pre-order now for pickup between April 6th and 9th.|
Prices are about $5-10 higher for 2023.
Heat-and-serve Easter meals include:

• Ham dinner for 4-6 people — $110
• Ham dinner for 8-10 people — $160
• Prime rib dinner for 4-6 people — $130

The meals come with choice of sides, mashed potatoes and gravy, and yeast rolls. Some options come with buttermilk pie.

There is also a large selection of items a la carte!
You can just a ham, or just some yummy sides, or whatever you need to customize your family meal at home.

Honey Baked Ham

The classic Easter ham!
To reserve the ham of your choice, find your store, and order from the selections available there.

There is also a selection of full meals available.
The lowest-priced meal is $120 and includes an 8-lb ham (serves 12-16 people) and your choice of 4 sides (note that the sides come frozen, so require some preparation. NOTE: At the time of writing, this meal was on sale for $113, but we assume it was a limited time offer, so you may want to pre-order now.)

This famous mail-order food company is offering create-your-own Easter dinner packages that allow you to customize your entire menu.

The lowest-priced option is a package that serves 4 people for $139.99. (Keep in mind that you need to spend $149 to get free shipping.
A customized package for 8 people is $189.99.
The Grand Easter Feast is HALF OFF (at the time of writing) for $155.97.

Entrees include ham, lamb of leg, sirloin roast, and turkey roulade.
