“Newfound Lake is 4,400 acres, 7 miles wide, and 182 feet deep,” DeStefano says. “It’s a glacial lake that is fed by four different springs. It is one of the cleanest lakes in the world. You can see clear down to 30 feet. It really has an ‘On Golden Pond’ feel to it.”

The cottage is likely to be used as a second home, DeStefano says.

“Most of the properties in the area are secondary residences,” he notes, adding, “I think the next owner will be someone who appreciates art versus someone who is simply looking for a lake house.”
