It’s been a minute — okay, more like 875,439 minutes, give or take — since I wrote about this over-the-sink dish drying rack, which I still think of as an excellent item. The problem is, the entire stock of Langria products appears to have vanished from the earth…? No idea what’s happened to those guys.
With that said, this similar dish rack from Home Key is a solid alternative if you’re in the market. And if you live in a small space where you have to handwash all your dishes as I do, then you should be in the market, because the extent to which it helps declutter your otherwise limited kitchen counter space can’t be overstated.
The sturdy frame is easy to assemble and holds a lot of dishes, and all the baskets and caddies and such can be hung from it in whatever configuration you like. Those things are also easily removable in case you ever feel the need to handwash them.
Like the Langria one, this rack allows dishes to drain straight into the sink, so you don’t have to worry about countertop cleanup (other than whatever splashes you created while washing the things, something I’m definitely guilty of ).
The rack is $79 on Amazon and fits sinks ≤ 33¾” with faucets ≤ 17″ tall.
